SurgTech Flow Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 16, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the SurgTech Flow mobile application (“SurgTech Flow” or the “App”), provided by Surgical Tech Review, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using SurgTech Flow, you agree to these Terms.
1. Educational Purpose
SurgTech Flow is an educational and study tool designed to assist surgical technology students and professionals in reviewing surgical procedures, anatomy, instrumentation, Mayo stand setup, and anticipation concepts.
SurgTech Flow is not medical advice and is not a substitute for formal surgical technology education, supervised clinical training, institutional policies and procedures, surgeon preferences, professional judgment, or applicable standards of practice.
Surgical procedures, techniques, instrumentation, equipment, and practices may vary according to the surgeon, healthcare facility, patient circumstances, available equipment, and other factors. Users are responsible for following the policies, procedures, instructions, and standards applicable to their educational or clinical environment.
2. No Guarantee of Professional or Examination Outcomes
Use of SurgTech Flow does not guarantee academic success, certification, examination performance, employment, clinical competency, or any particular professional outcome.
The App is intended to supplement—not replace—approved educational materials, classroom instruction, laboratory practice, clinical education, and professional training.
3. Accounts
You may use SurgTech Flow as a guest without creating an account. Registration is optional. Guest learning progress is stored locally on the device and may be lost if the App is deleted, its data is cleared, or you change devices. Creating an account enables eligible learning progress to be saved and synchronized across devices.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and not to use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
4. Lifetime Access Purchase
SurgTech Flow may offer certain content as a free preview and additional content through a one-time Lifetime Access in-app purchase.
The price displayed in the App at the time of purchase is the applicable purchase price. Purchases on iOS are processed through Apple’s App Store; purchases on Android are processed through Google Play. Each purchase is subject to the applicable store’s payment terms and policies.
“Lifetime Access” means access to the SurgTech Flow premium features made available under the purchased entitlement for as long as Surgical Tech Review, LLC continues to make SurgTech Flow available and support that entitlement. It does not guarantee that the App, any particular feature, procedure, content item, or third-party service will remain available indefinitely.
Eligible purchases may be restored using the purchase-restoration features of the store account and platform through which the purchase was made. A purchase made through Apple does not automatically unlock the Android version, and a purchase made through Google Play does not automatically unlock the iOS version, unless the App expressly supports cross-platform purchase entitlements.
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google Play, as applicable, under the relevant store’s policies and processes.
5. Account Deletion and Purchases
Registered users may delete their SurgTech Flow account through the Account section of the App. Guest users do not have a cloud account to delete; guest progress stored locally can generally be removed by clearing App data or uninstalling the App.
Deleting a SurgTech Flow account removes the account and associated cloud learning-progress information maintained by Surgical Tech Review, LLC.
Deleting an account does not cancel, revoke, or erase an eligible purchase maintained by Apple or Google Play. Eligible purchases may be restored through the relevant store’s purchase-restoration system, subject to its policies and the App’s supported functionality.
6. Intellectual Property
SurgTech Flow and its original content, including text, educational materials, procedure organization, questions, graphics, branding, design elements, and other original materials, are owned by or licensed to Surgical Tech Review, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Your purchase or use of SurgTech Flow grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for lawful personal educational purposes.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, redistribute, systematically extract, scrape, copy, create unauthorized derivative products from, or commercially exploit SurgTech Flow content without prior written permission from Surgical Tech Review, LLC, except as permitted by applicable law.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse SurgTech Flow, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, circumvent access or purchase controls, or use the App in violation of applicable law.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, add, or remove App features or educational content as SurgTech Flow develops.
We may also suspend or discontinue some or all of the App when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Third-Party Services
SurgTech Flow relies on third-party services, including Apple services for iOS distribution and purchases, Google Play services and Google Play Billing for Android distribution and purchases, and Supabase infrastructure for optional account authentication and cloud functionality.
The availability and operation of these services may be subject to the respective providers’ terms, policies, and technical availability.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SurgTech Flow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
While we strive to provide useful and accurate educational information, we do not warrant that all content will be error-free, complete, current, or applicable to every surgical setting, surgeon preference, institution, patient, or clinical circumstance.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Surgical Tech Review, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, SurgTech Flow.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
12. Privacy
Your use of SurgTech Flow is also subject to the SurgTech Flow Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to SurgTech Flow, applicable requirements, or our business practices.
When these Terms are updated, the effective date will be revised. Continued use of the App following an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
